My journey in medicine reflects my unyielding dedication to serving diverse communities. Growing up in the vibrant culture of the Dominican Republic, my ability to speak both English and Spanish became a valuable tool, bridging the gap between me and my patients from different backgrounds. Achieving the title of Family Resident of the Year in 2017 by the American Academy of Family Physicians, Puerto Rico Chapter, was a defining moment that highlighted my commitment to excellence.

 

Throughout my career, I've continuously sought opportunities for growth, attending prestigious medical conferences like the AAFP National Conference and educational programs such as Prim-Med in New York. Each experience, from my time in Puerto Rico to South Carolina and now South Florida, has enriched my ability to work with patients from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs. My tenure in South Carolina, alongside my experiences in Florida and Puerto Rico, has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of cultural nuances and healthcare disparities, enabling me to provide tailored and compassionate care to all those I serve.
